Our 9th Season is fully cast.  Email a headshot, resume, and preferred time to [email protected].  We will respond with sides and answer any questions you may have.

Script Submissions

Our script submission window is open through February 28th or until we reach 200 scripts.  Best Medicine Rep is looking exclusively for full-length comedies (70+ minutes) for its 2026-2027 Reading Series.  Only comedies, please.  That is our mission.  No more than 5 actors (doubling is fine), small set.  Please do not send us scripts that we've seen before.  Prior readings and productions are okay, as long as it has not been produced in the DC/Baltimore area. Five to six scripts will be selected for the reading series as part of our 10th Anniversary Season.  One play will be selected for production in Season 11.  There is a small stipend, but no travel expenses.  We are happy to provide a video file of the reading and Zoom you into the rehearsals.
